Christmas in January ^^
So…
A few days ago, I had a pretty sad day… and spent a few hours wandering around town just because.
When I arrived home, a little green envelope was sitting in my mailbox… and I was pretty sure I was not expecting anything that resembles it.
Turns out it was my belated Christmas present from my secret santa simple-happy
It was a little handmade teddy bear — it made my day! Thank you :)
Now, I have not mentioned my name in the gift I sent… but I think I’m going to do it now because… well, simple-happy’s secret santa extraiceplease was the person I sent my gifts to.
Quite a nice little triangle there!
What would we call that moment before we begin to eat the honey? Some would call it anticipation, but we think it’s more than that. We would call it awareness. It’s when we become happy and realize it, if only for an instant.
Did you know, that it’s perfectly OK, even highly ideal, to claim all is well amongst doubt and confusion? To be happy in spite of challenges? To laugh at problems? Dance without a partner? Sing without a rhyme? Talk to inanimate objects?
Oddly, most don’t.
